Veterans Cannabis, a UK charity supporting former service members, has renewed its campaign for NHS funding of cannabis treatment for PTSD, citing new trial.

The Veterans Cannabis charity has published an open letter to NHS England calling for emergency access provisions for veterans diagnosed with PTSD who have failed conventional treatment. The letter cites a recently completed Canadian trial — the largest randomised study of cannabis for PTSD to date — which found significant improvements across all primary endpoints compared to placebo.
