Grow Pharma Expands UK Distribution Network to 400 Pharmacies
UK cannabis medicine distributor Grow Pharma has announced the expansion of its pharmacy distribution network, making its product range available in 400 dispensing locations nationwide.
Grow Pharma, one of the UK leading importers and distributors of licensed cannabis-based medicinal products, has confirmed the expansion of its pharmacy network to 400 dispensing locations across England, Scotland, and Wales. The announcement marks a near-doubling of the company pharmacy footprint from the 215 sites reported in its previous annual update.
Network Composition
The expanded network includes both independent specialist pharmacies and branches of regional pharmacy multiples. Grow Pharma has partnered with a dedicated pharmaceutical wholesaler to manage cold-chain logistics for temperature-sensitive formulations and to ensure consistent product availability across all network sites.

- Whole-flower dried cannabis products for vaporisation
- Cannabis oil formulations in varying THC:CBD ratios
- Standardised cannabis capsules
- Pharmaceutical-grade cannabidiol preparations
Significance for Patient Access
Prior to the network expansion, patients in many parts of the UK were required to use postal dispensing services, which introduced delays and, in some cases, temperature management concerns for specialist formulations. The physical pharmacy network allows patients to collect prescriptions same-day in most major population centres.
"Distribution is access. If a patient prescription cannot be filled locally within a reasonable timeframe, the clinical benefit is compromised before the medicine even reaches them."
Grow Pharma confirmed that all pharmacies in the network are registered with the GPhC and that dispensing staff receive product-specific training before joining the network.
