Mamedica Expands to 8 Cities with New Leeds and Sheffield Locations
Fast-growing medical cannabis clinic Mamedica has opened new locations in Leeds and Sheffield, taking its network to 8 cities across the UK.
Mamedica, one of the UK's fastest-growing medical cannabis clinic networks, has opened two new locations in Leeds and Sheffield, expanding its in-person consultation network to 8 cities. The openings take the company's total monthly consultation capacity to over 500 new patient appointments.
Founded in 2020, Mamedica has grown rapidly by combining accessible consultation fees with a transparent online prescribing platform. The company recently launched a same-day telemedicine service for eligible returning patients - a first in the UK market.
The Leeds clinic is located in the Merrion Centre and will be staffed by three specialist prescribers. Sheffield's Devonshire Green location will offer both in-person and video consultations. Both clinics operate walk-in slots during peak hours, removing the need for all appointments to be pre-booked.
Chief operating officer James Liu told Yorkshire Post: "There's enormous unmet need in the North of England. We're seeing patients who've been travelling three hours to appointments in Manchester or Birmingham. Having local access changes everything."
Initial consultations at both new locations are priced at 99 GBP - among the most competitive in the UK market.
