Cannabis Clinic Group Announces Manchester Expansion

The Cannabis Clinic Group has announced the opening of a new consultation facility in Manchester city centre, marking its seventh UK location and its first in the North West of England. The clinic will offer both in-person and telehealth consultations to patients across the region, targeting a significant unmet demand that has left many North West patients on waiting lists for months.

The Manchester clinic will employ a team of three specialist prescribers and two clinical coordinators, with plans to scale headcount as patient volumes grow. Initial consultation availability will be from Monday to Saturday, with extended evening slots to accommodate working patients.

Why Manchester?

Manchester was identified as a priority expansion location following internal analysis of patient origin data, which showed a disproportionate number of enquiries from the M, SK, OL and WN postcode areas — regions previously underserved by the clinic group's existing network of London, Bristol, Birmingham and Edinburgh facilities.

Greater Manchester's large and diverse population, combined with high rates of chronic pain, PTSD and treatment-resistant depression among its communities, makes the city a strategically important market for specialist cannabis prescribing services.

What Services Are Available?

The Manchester clinic will offer initial consultations for patients with chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, multiple sclerosis, Crohn's disease and treatment-resistant conditions. A dedicated patient support coordinator will assist with prescription management, pharmacy liaison and ongoing clinical reviews, ensuring continuity of care throughout the treatment journey.
