Bedrocan Launches Three New Strains for UK Market
Dutch pharmaceutical cannabis producer Bedrocan has introduced three new cultivars to its UK product range, expanding patient choice.
Dutch pharmaceutical cannabis manufacturer Bedrocan has expanded its UK product portfolio with the launch of three new cultivars: Bediol 6.3% CBD/8% THC, Bedica 14% THC Indica-dominant, and a high-CBD Bedrolite 9% CBD/0% THC variant.
The new products, now available through several UK licensed clinics, were developed in response to prescriber feedback requesting products with different cannabinoid ratios for specific patient populations. Bediol is designed for daytime use with its balanced CBD:THC ratio, while Bedica targets patients requiring stronger sedative effects for sleep and pain.
Bedrolite, containing no measurable THC, is expected to be particularly valuable for patients who require CBD therapy but are concerned about any psychoactive effects - including professionals subject to workplace drug testing.
All three products are grown in Bedrocan's EU-GMP certified indoor facilities in the Netherlands and are backed by clinical trial data. UK import licences were granted by the MHRA in August 2025.
